Saturday's wedding and reception for William and Natalie in Chula Vista. A flawless day of weather, perfectly conducted and orchestrated ceremony and guests who were ready for a celebration. 5 1/2 hours later, our couple was completely thrilled with my part and the outcome. Lots of positive guest comments as well. (I had a blast too!) I love my job!

I love my job and the connections that I can make. Djing on the Admiral Hornblower Dinner Cruise, I met John and Mary who were celebrating some big milestones. They both turned 90 years old last week! If that weren't enough, they were on board celebrating their 64th wedding anniversary with their two sons and their wives. I asked them what song I could play for them and they said anything would be fine, as they weren't big dancers. After dinner, I made the announcements for b...irthdays and anniversaries and then started off a slow dance set with Can't Help Falling In Love by Elvis. Low and behold, they got up and danced to the delight of all the guests. When the song was over they came up to me, John shook my hand and Mary gave me a big hug and told me that Can't Help Falling In Love was the song that John used to sing to her while when he could while he was deployed away from her, serving 31 years in the USMC. The sparkle in their eyes was a sight to see. They were such a delightful couple to meet and celebrate with. #DJPerks See more
