"Das Grublein" is a grappling game from Fabian von Auerswald's Ringbuch. One player is the "King" who has to stand with one foot planted on a marked spot. If the King moves his foot from the spot, then he loses his place and his challenger takes the spot. But the catch is that the challenger must hop on one foot! The old books say that it is "very funny to watch."
