It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our dear colleague and friend, Marv Sylakowski. Marv worked for more than 12 years at the Water Authority in the Engineering Department as the Supervising Land Surveyor. He was a great mentor and teammate, and he will be sorely missed. He worked tirelessly with his survey team and the Right of Way Group to ensure that our property and easements were mapped and marked in the field with the utmost accuracy. Marv was alw...ays ready to lend a helping hand to anyone who asked, and he supported many other departments with planning and project efforts that required his superior land surveying talent. He was a great family man with a warm smile and welcoming demeanor who always put others interests and concerns ahead of his own. Our condolences go out to his wife, his two adult children, and his extended family and friends.
