Welcome to Vista Murrieta High School's Robotics Team page! Broncobotics focuses on fostering career-ready skills in a collaborative environment that encourages high school students to work passionately as they design, build, code, and compete their robots. Look out for our future website!
The unexpected pandemic has impacted us in many ways, leaving many of us with feelings of uncertainty, especially (hopefully) graduating seniors. I recently started a petition for seniors within my school district, as well as our neighboring district. By signing it, you can help us communicate with administrators about how important a physical graduation is, even if it's postponed. We'd more than appreciate your support! (It does ask for your email to verify the integrity of the signature, but it doesn't spam or anything like that). Use the link below! http://chng.it/HqXXQjq8Hc
We feel beyond grateful for everyone who enrolled their child into the Broncobotics Summer Camp. The fundraiser helped raise over $1000, and each dollar will go toward our robotics season as we compete in VEX EDR across California!
Day 3 of the Broncobotics Summer Camp brought a competitive atmosphere as campers modified their clawbots into sumobots! The 3 teams of 4 each contributed to their bots, battling among other teams for the title of Tournament Champion. We thank everyone for coming.
Day 2 of the Broncobotics Summer Camp challenged our campers with a new obstacle: code! Although most of our campers previously attended Coding Camps, VMHS's Engineering Teacher, Mr. Larkins, introduced them to novel skills, such as implementing variables, ensuring each student left with more knowledge than they came with.
Day 1 of the Broncobotics Summer Camp exceeded our expectations! Campers filled the room with excitement as they started off the day with the PLTW Cable Car Design Challenge and camp leaders helped conclude their day with a clawbot building session.
We've warmed up our Afinia 3D Printer and Laser to prep for our Middle School Summer Camp and couldn't be more excited!
We will be hosting a Robotics Summer Camp exclusive to middle school students at Vista Murrieta High School where campers will find the opportunity to learn how to code and build robots, as well as put their original designs to the test in a BattleBots competition! Read our flyer for more information.
