Join us as we tour this sweet first home for a very sweet young couple. We are up Hwy 49, just 10 minutes from our usual stomping grounds in Lake of the Pines. This home is in Grass Valley, the heart of 49er gold mining. In fact, the home is close to the treasured Empire Mine with its miles of trails, a lovely museum, gardens and wedding grounds. Our young couple surely struck gold here. And to top it off, I was able to obtain a Fired Up About Homeownership Grant for them from the Nevada County Association of Realtors. This grant helps with the first year of homeowner's insurance.
