Welcome to the Garage Gallery! As we celebrate year 15 in the Fine Art business, this coming season, we’re putting out a call to artists for the summer exhibition: Artwork from the workplace. Art/Works Art from the work place is a curated exhibit based on art work made in the course of your day or night job. Michel de Certeau We invite artists, working in all media, to explore and create work reflecting this concept. Accepted works will be on exhibit at 4141 Garage Gallery from July 5 through July 24, 2019 (peak season). May 31, 2019 call closes June 3, 2019 notification of accepted artists June 28, 2019 deadline for receiving of all artwork July 5, 2019 exhibit opens July 5, 2019 Opening Reception, Friday 7 to 9 pm July 23, 2019 Exhibition closes ** IMPORTANT NOTE: we encourage early submissions for press, social media and advertising purposes. Commission: 30% commission is split between the artist and the gallery. **IMPORTANT NOTE: as a condition of entry, the artist grants Garage Gallery permission to use images for advertising and marketing purposes.
