Here is another example of someone defending their own home with a firearm. While we have a responsibility to our community to secure weapons, we have the responsibility to our loved ones to be able to respond to an immediate threat! You can't do that with the unloaded gun in your safe.

This video shows how difficult it is to react to real situations. As KCSO Rangemaster I used Simunitions (the blue guns in the video, similar to paint ball rounds) to train Law Enforcement Officers from many agencies how to survive fights where guns and other weapons are involved. As the head of Use of Force training we used the Simulator (the reactive video screen) to discuss decision making and the legality of your decision. I bring this knowledge to every class we do!
