Dear All the Saints of Trinity, We did it! Our first in person, safe-as-can-be-during-a-pandemic worship experience this past Sunday. I thank God for all the hands that sanitized and prepared the worship space and that God's word spoke to us: even in the midst of change, saved by grace through faith steadies our lives and hearts and relationships. Come if this is a healthy and helpful option for you, if not, see you online! This past Friday, we welcomed the community to the T...rinity campus for a Trunk or Treat drive thru event. Friends from the school and the church and the community helped serve all our community's kids. The laughter and the smiles and the joy...this teamwork is what makes Trinity such a special place. As we celebrate All Saints this weekend, we remember all the people who spoke love and faith into our lives. In the Creed, we see we believe in the communion of saints...we are never alone! No matter a pandemic! As together, we continue to build a spiritual home for all, we just can't know who God will bring to our door to hear the Good News of Jesus Christ, crucified and risen from the dead. All I do know is that love and grace and welcome can be found here--thanks to you! 75!! On November 15th, we celebrate our 75th anniversary, and yes, it will be simpler. And yes, it will be smaller, but that does not make the beacon of God's love and light that shines from the cross of Trinity Lutheran any less.
