Hot meals are available for pick up at 11:30 am Monday through Friday at the Wilson and Palm Vista centers. Every meal is accompanied with a fresh veggie side salad, yogurt, fruit, bread and milk. A donation of $3 is recommended for those who are 60+ years of age. Individuals 59 and younger are requested to pay $6.75. Please call 805-385-8029 to reserve your meal.

Yesterday, a Townkeeper Team worked together to complete a weed abatement project along Pleasant Valley Rd.

Townkeeping Thursday: City Corps continues with the inspection and maintenance of over 3,000 citywide catch basins, in collaboration with Public Works’ Wastewater Division.

Sporting snazzy new eyes, Joey is repainting the COVID safety circles at Oxnard State Beach Park following the tai chi class that started there yesterday. The class runs Mon and Thurs from 11 to noon through Nov 19.

We're bringing our evidence-based Tai Chi classes for seniors to the beach area starting Monday. Instructors break down Tai Chi so it is easily understood and a...ttainable. If you've always wanted to learn what is often described as meditation in motion, here's your chance! No pre-registration is required and classes are free. Wear comfortable clothes and don't forget your water!

In honor of Hispanic Heritage month, the next senior art workshop will focus on amate paper painted birds. Art2Go kits will be available for pick up on 10/21 at the Wilson Senior Center, followed by the outdoor workshop at the Palm Vista Senior Center on 10/22 from 1:30-3:00pm.
