Hi everyone, Hope all of you are well and safe during this crazy SIP time. I hope you don't mind if I pass this along just in case you want to help or maybe share this with other dancer friends. Dance For 2 studio owner (now Dance Headquarters), Shawn Torgerson has put together a dancer tribute fundraising idea to help with the costs of the new studio location during the Covid shutdown The closing of non- essential businesses came at the worst possible time as he was jus...t finishing the build-out on the new bigger studio. It was just days from moving in and opening in April. Here's the link about the fundraising effort. I 'm sure any level of participation would be appreciated. PLEASE READ THIS - Effective March 15, 2020 2toGroove Dance classes will be temporarily CLOSED per the request of our studio management due to the COVID19 virus concern. Those that paid for a full session of March classes can be credited for the canceled classes or a refund can be given. Please contact Margie with your preference via text message to 619 291 3775 ... NOTE: Dance For 2 is allowing private lessons to continue. This is possible if both student and teacher are in agreement to meet. If interested please contact Margie Adams at 619 291 3775 We need to do all we can to protect our dance community. We hope this won't be for too long but will post an update on this event page at the end of March. Please DO CHECK BACK or CALL Margie 619 291 3775 for an update. FYI, this event along with all other dances and classes at DANCE FOR 2 have been canceled for this reason per the studio owner. A copy of his statement is noted on the event page below. As of now,, only private lessons are being held at this studio, so students must contact their individual instructors regarding the s...cheduling of private lessons. Please take care out there. Special Announcement to all our dancers planning on coming to a class or dance event; We are canceling all group classes and dance events for the next 2 weeks. ...We truly hope that 2 weeks will be all that we are closed for and ARE NOT making this decision lightly. Your safety and health is our utmost concern and while we know some of you would still come to class or want to attend an event, we feel it best to err on the side of caution and safety first by closing for the next 2 weeks. As the situation continually changes we can't safely continue to offer classes and social dances without putting our dancers and their families at risk. For anyone who has already paid for classes this month, we will credit you those classes once we reopen. We will continue to monitor all updates and hope to open classes and events again in April. These are unprecedented times for all of us and we are doing what we think best to keep dancers safe.
