With the Summer heat I'm reminding clients to always turn off water to hoses and drain them at all wash areas. Hoses heat up and under pressure they burst. Also be careful of the temperature of the water when it firsts comes out! Ouch! Thanks to all for your continued respect of others, their horses, our workers and our property!

Now that Summer has hit, if anyone is looking to get blankets cleaned and off stall doors, let me know, I have a friend that provides that service. Clean and repairs.

Thank you all that have applied for the stall cleaning position. I have hired, however if they don’t work out, I hope that I can reach back out to those interested for interviews. Thanks again!

Monday is De Portola street paving day out front of Sisters. Please enter our facility from Pauba Road on to Aveneda Madera and enter back gate please. You can get to Pauba two ways for those not familiar to the area. You can go up Anza to Pauba, over the hill and down or off of the 79 on Pauba. Sorry for the inconvenience. And please adhere to the 5mph or less speed limit on property As always.

Some exciting news about this free Youth Clinic! We will have High Rank Apparel and Jo Loves Jewelry on-site! Jimmy John’s (corona/ Norco/ riverside locations)... gourmet sandwiches will be available free for the youth kids. Pro-Elite Performance Horse Feeds, NRCHA, NCHA, Spice Merchants in Temecula, Bardsley Products Inc (grooming products), Monster Energy drinks, MamaHens Hats, Equilux Light Therapy are just some of the business donating to this cause! We will have raffle items of which the proceeds will help to cover cost of cows! We invite anyone to stop by and join in the fun!

Starting tomorrow the guys will be starting the new arena in the far back. I apologize in advance if this causes any noise or disruptions. It will take about 2-3 weeks for completion. Thank you for your understanding. It will be great to have another permanent arena!

Mud city at the entrance to Sisters today. A reminder the back gate to property off of Pauba and Avaneda Madeira has much harder packed dirt and a better path for entry than our current muddy entrance. If gates are closed, please close behind you, if open, leave open (code of any good ranch). Come between rounds of rain and hand walk your horses and be careful!

April showers bring April flowers!

You know you got a lot of rain when this is going on in your arena!

I know I sound like a broken record, but last night’s rain did a number on our arenas and turnouts. Please do not enter any of the arenas. If you think you want to turnout, you are doing it on your own judgement. At this time I do not feel they are safe. Those of you that have turn out service, I always credit by turning out on the next available dry day. Everyone drive safely!

Sounds like a repeat, but last nights rain shut our turnouts down and the Way back arena also. Maybe tomorrow if this beautiful sun stays out!

Effective immediately, and during this State mandated issue, only horse owners are allowed on property. To clarify those that board here or care for a horse at Sisters are allowed on property. Please leave additional family members and friends at home. If they must come with you or drive you as in the case of minors caring for their horses, please have them wait in the car and do not use our facilities including restroom unless an absolute emergency. We are trying to keep all... of the staff, trainers and our clients healthy. This also includes suspending those traveling in for lessons. For those of you that have farrier and vet appointments please accompany them onsite and have them promptly leave after services. Do not have them in multiple areas of the facility. Please text me that you do have such appointments in advance. Additionally, there will not be any temporary boarders at this time. If I have a request for a permanent boarder, I will escort them on property. During this time if you are sick or have feelings of any cold or flu-like symptoms, please stay home! Call or text me and I will free of charge take care of any care for your horse that is needed. This is a serious issue, and we must do our part by keeping ourselves and others here at Sisters healthy. Please text or message me any questions you may have. See more
