In Les Mills CXWORK you train your core muscles to stabilize in various planes of movement, a requirement to develop functional core strength. This can help you lift heavier, jump higher and reduce the chance of injury. 24 Hour Fitness members can get the LES MILLS On Demand app free for 60 days for a limited time. Try it at home or from your favorite outdoor scenery! http://link.lesmillsondemand.com/SHzB

You can’t pick your challenges, but you can decide how to meet them. 24 Hour Fitness member Rayy Syymone was born with a nevus (a large, potentially cancerous mole) on her back. The doctor gave her mother the option to have the nevus removed, so they did. From birth until she was almost a teenager, Rayy was in the hospital frequently, having skin graft surgery, staples in her back and stiches everywhere. She was constantly in pain and couldn’t run, jump, play rough or bump in...to things because of the thin layer of skin and lack of protective tissue around her spine. When I was growing up, I wanted to be in sports, but I couldn’t. Rayy turned to food for comfort, until one day she realized she was wearing her trauma on her body and decided to make a change. Through a vegan diet and exercise, Rayy has been able to lose 100 pounds. Now, her goal is to inspire other people to live their best lives. She does this not only through inspiring social media, but also as a counselor at an adult school, serving people struggling with homelessness and depression. Rayy helps her students learn how to better take care of their mental well-being. #StoriesAt24
