Sunnyside Swap Meet

As we look forward to another great weekend, we’d like to make everyone aware that we are currently limiting the number of guests in attendance throughout the day per city guidelines. We encourage everyone to come out as early as possible to beat the heat and to avoid the busy times. If you arrive and the entrance gate is closed, it means we are already at capacity. Normally it takes about 20 minutes before the gate will re-open but that all depends on how many people leave during that time. We know this is a huge inconvenience and we sincerely apologize for the delay but keeping everyone safe and remaining compliant with the state and the city is a top priority for us. So come out early, drink lots of water and don’t forget your mask!

Thanks to all of our wonderful vendors and faithful shoppers for another great weekend! We want to remind everyone that the City of Fresno is currently requiring a face covering for all who enter. We know this is an inconvenience for some but please help us stay compliant during this transitional time. Also, we are now charging $1.00 per person for anyone entering through the pedestrian gate (children under 12 are free). Inside parking is still only $3.00 which includes entrance for everyone in the vehicle. These fees help support several changes we have made due to Covid-19 to ensure a safe environment for everyone as well as our additional staff we've added to keep the swap meet clean and sterilized. We hired some helpers to get the word out!

Thank you to everyone who came out for our first weekend back in business! Between our hard working vendors, our faithful customers and our awesome staff, it was a great success. Our goal is to provide a safe shopping experience for everyone during these challenging times. We feel that our outdoor venue is a safe and affordable alternative to the big box stores. That being said, we ask for your patience as we must regulate the number of shoppers at any given time. It may take a little longer to get inside but it’s worth the wait! For now, the city has asked us to require a face covering for everyone in attendance. We know this may be an inconvenience for some but it’s the best way to protect those around us. Thank you for supporting us and supporting our vendors while we get through this together. Hope to see you soon!

We will be implementing basic safety precautions as we want to make the swap meet a safe and comfortable experience for everyone. We ask that if you're not feeling well, please stay home. Guests and vendors should do their best to maintain a distance of 6 feet from each other.... Please use our hand sanitizing stations and wash your hands often. When eating at the food court, we ask that only family members dine together, All other guests need to maintain a safe distance when seated. Please cover your face if you cough or sneeze. Face coverings are recommended but not required. Vendors will need to have six feet between them and their neighbors. This means each vendor will need to leave 3 feet on each side of their space to create the distance required. Closure Announcement In the face of the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) outbreak, the City of Fresno has determined that the Sunnyside Swap Meet, along with most businesses in the City of Fresno, will be closed until further notice. We realize the financial impact this has on many of our regular vendors and faithful customers and for this we truly apologize. Thank you to all of our volunteers today, it was a huge success! We served over 4000 pancakes, 4800 sausage links, 3600 slices of bacon, 2000 eggs and 100 gallons of orange juice! Special thanks to Tom Flanigan and the Fresno Police Officers Association for the use of their equipment and facilities. We are so thankful to be able to do this for our hard working vendors and our faithful customers. Can’t wait for next year!
