This original adaptation of three Washington Irving stories (The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, The Specter Bridegroom, and Rip Van Winkle) was first presented as a staged reading on SVCAC'S Downstage Theater. Told by ten narrators portraying dozens of characters, Tarrytown Tales is presented in the style of storybook theater, leveraging Irving's eloquent literary technique through a fun and accessible narrative, entertaining for all ages.
