It’s easy to feel like you’re drowning in a world of negativity right now. We can blame so much of our hurts on others, our world, governing leaders, this pandemic etc... what’s difficult is choosing to float above it, changing your perspective and making the best of any and all situations. When we do this the people in our lives will follow our lead. Your spouse, children, coworkers, and friends will see your perspective change and that positivity will start to spread. It’s not all terrible right now, there are many things to be grateful for, many blessings in disguise, but you won’t see them drowning in your negative thoughts.

No feel left behind ministry update... Last Monday w were able to team up with some social works in Vacaville to donate 20 pairs of shoes to families that were affected by the recent fires. We’re very blessed and privileged to be able to help out our surrounding communities. THANK YOU FOLSOM VANS OUTLET!!!!

This Sunday we are going to move our class time a bit earlier so we don't lose great dialog time and still have enough time to get to the Drive-in Worship Service (if you are participating in that). Class will start at 9:15, I will open the room at 9am for fellowship time, class will end at 10:15 giving everyone 45 minutes to get to drive in church. the zoom meeting for class is the same each week and is https://us02web.zoom.us/j/5064038216 Meeting ID: 506 403 8216 Passcode...: EGCOC Drive-In Worship will begin at 11am in the parking lot behind our building. We are changing things a bit, as you arrive stop at the table to receive communion for your carload, as well as songbooks to keep in your car if you plan on returning to drive in church in the future. You are welcome to stay in your car or in a chair near your car. All we ask for is if you are out of your car please follow the physical distancing guidelines and make sure you are wearing a mask. This Sunday I will have external speakers to help with sound but you are also able to listen in your car by turning the station to 107.9. This has been a very encouraging time to worship together in the same space and to do it as safely as possible. The leadership team would encourage you to come check it out but also encourage you to make your decisions based on your comfort levels for you and your families during this time of COVID. Either way I am proud of our church and am happy to worship with you in person outside or in spirit online. If you are not participating in Drive-in Worship online worship service begins at 10:30am. We hope that each week is a blessing to you and I am thankful for all of our service volunteers that help make each week special. This Sunday we will be talking about Fear: The Fear of missed opportunities. We hope you can join us to look into how the fear of failing or the fear of losing hinders us from pursing opportunities of greatness God has before us.
