Gosh, this year has thrown more curve-balls than most of us expected and frankly more than most of us can handle. Our collective lives have been thrown for a loop and the turns just keep on coming. We have been thrown out of routines, started new routines, failed at routines, lost connection with friends and built stronger relationships. It has been a year of bouncing from yin and yang, extremes on all levels. Our yoga practice is no exception. We weren’t able to practice in-...studio. As an UPLIFT crew we showed up for each other and practiced from our living rooms and we gathered as a community and practiced in our parking lot. As we opened our in-studio doors (finally!) some of you rushed to get into the hot room. We have seen some of you start to gently get back into your routine and some of you haven’t made it in. We get it. There is no right. There is no wrong. We are all doing the very best we can. Wherever you are on the spectrum of your practice, we are here to support you. Please let your practice support you. We all need this practice, our mat time, and each other. If during our mandated in-studio closure you cancelled your membership (our monthly auto-debit program), you can reinstate it at your last charged rate. We are offering this thru the end of the week, November 1st (with no exceptions). Reach out. We miss you. You miss us. We all need the yoga in the current times. Movement, yoga and getting your sweat on has been touted to be a cure for nearly everything in life, from depression, to fitting into your favorite jeans, and much more. Most of us are aware of what happens to the body when we exercise. We build more muscle or more stamina. We feel how daily activities like climbing stairs becomes easier if we exercise regularly. When it comes to our brain and mood we feel happier when the endorphins kick in. For us at UPLIFT we can attest t...o higher productivity and a healthier dietahhhhisn’t it just the best to be back in our studio sanctuary taking care of ourselves? IT’S JUST THE BEST! As we head back into our beloved sweaty classes please remember to up your water intake. Hydration goes hand in hand to some of the above benefits. Please make your water consumption a priority and if you need a cute water bottle to help you with this healthy habit we know of a pretty rad place you can purchase one. (Hint: we have UPLIFT beverage swag at the studio that is just the cutest!)

Opening our in-studio classes last week has been a joyful reunion in our UPLIFT sanctuary and with our beloved community! The outpouring of support and enthusiasm has been positive and UPLIFTING! We have opened an additional TEN classes this week to carry a robust and full schedule. Check out our latest soul nourishing schedule here https://www.uplifthotyoga.com/schedule... Please register in advance for all classes. Remember there will be a 1 hour cancellation policy to ensure those wanting to practice are given the opportunity. A fee of $15 will be charged for no shows or late cancellations. Unlimited memberships will be charged $15 from their account and a deduction of one class on class card packages will occur as if you had attended. This policy will be strictly enforced and takes effect Monday. Let's do this UPLIFT community! Stress less. More sweat.

We have just been given the approval via the governor to OPEN with IN-STUDIO Classes! Sacramento County has moved into a less-impacted tier with COVID numbers. Can we get a Hell Yes!?! WE OPEN TOMORROW with a FULL IN-STUDIO SCHEDULE!... Please note: 1. All students will need to fill out a NEW liability waiver BEFORE taking class. No exceptions! 2. All students MUST reserve your class on the UPLIFT APP due to limited class capacity. 3. We ask that you avoid arriving to class early as we will open our doors 15 minutes prior to class start time in order to properly clean and sanitize. Upon arrival, please head directly to the yoga room and set up your space. You can smile, laugh, wave, dance and catch up with your UPLIFT peeps once you are on your mat! 4. Masks are REQUIRED for students upon entry & exit of the studio, masks are OPTIONAL during class. 5. There will be a 1 HOUR CANCELLATION POLICY to ensure those wanting to practice are given the opportunity. A fee of $25 will be charged for no shows or late cancellations. Unlimited memberships will be charged $25 from their account and a deduction of one class on class card packages will occur as if you had attended. This policy will be strictly enforced and takes effect on October 5th. 6. We will not be allowing late entry to class, no exceptions. Our community is made of pure love . Together, we generated HOPE for ourselves, one another and for Uplift Hot Yoga Elk Grove to keep SHINING ON Thank you to everyone who made the day so remarkable . Sending a HUGE shout out to our friends at Chicago Fire for going above and beyond as the host of our event. From decor, service, live music and exclusive brunch menu, they went all out to support UPLIFT . Little did we know that we'd be weathering this storm for over 6 months and we are so grateful to each and every one of you, near and far, for your support. Continued memberships, donations, fundraising contributions, along with PPP funding from our government and cooperation from our landlord are the only way we have persevered thus far. We aren't out of the woods quite yet. Guidlines, restrictions (including very limited capacity) will make the journey ahead quite challenging. It will likely be many months before we can operate "normally". We are committed to serving you and our community and we ask for your continued support and patience .
