As a spiritual practice for the next few days, reflect on how you're waiting: for the election results, for a vaccine for COVID, for 2020 to finally be over. For what else are you waiting? Where is God in that waiting?

#gettingtoknoweachother in October is over and we’re starting #spiritualpractices in November. Today, I invite you contemplative breath prayer at Holy hours: 12pm, 3pm, 6pm, and 9pm. Choose something that you long to feel today such as calm, peace, unity, comfort, etc. Breathe in and say your word. Breathe out and say a word or phrase of affirmation such as amen, let it be, may it be so, etc. I hope this helps you get through your day!

Aside from my dog Golde, i also had a dog Samson, the family dog, and two cats, Captain and Pockford, who I found under a bush at a state park when I was in college. #gettingtoknoweachother Day 19 and 20 About me: I love dance. I have watched most seasons of So You Think You Can Dance. I saw the Alvin Ailey dancers in person. I would love to see the Radio City Rockettes live (they’re totally my favorite part of the Macy’s parade). I was cast as a dancer for my high schools spring musical Fiddler On the Roof. During the summer that followed, I got a dog and named her Golde. (I think that’s day days worth of stuff right?) Oh, and one of the... other dancers was later cast as Kate Beckett in the show Castle (also a favorite). The more I put this out there the more I will hold myself accountable for trying to accomplish the life goal: I want to be the Presbyterian Minsiter who plays the bagpipes in worship on Reformation Sunday.
