Honored to be 2020 Hispanic Woman of The Year for Dia de La Raza! I give THE LORD all the Praise, without HIM I wouldn't be who I am or do what I do. Day after day, year after year GOD has been Faithful to use my life to help others and I thank HIM for that! So blessed to be able have my children, my mom, my grandparents and my two cousins join me tonight! I'm blessed to represent Brawley Feed the Need Inc. a Non-profit Ministry that brings love & hope to those who are struggling in life. My dear friend Kristen Delgado passed away last night. Please keep her family in your prayers. And also her boyfriend Ruben who witnessed the incident. Kristen has been my friend for many years, she carries a Special place in my heart. She named her only child after me which I always felt so blessed by. On Monday she came to Feed the Need and I let her come in the center and pick new clothes from our fundraiser, we were talking about serious stuff. She said she was tired of ...the way things were in her surroundings. I reminded her that JESUS is the Only ONE who could change that, she knew what I was talking about bcuz she experienced THE LORD'S Touch many years ago. She then pointed out how I had changed for the best. I told her that she could too. I told her to just let me know when she's ready and I would personally take her to Teen Challenge myself. A little late but I want to Thank another Non-profit Ministry that met the need for the IID Electricity Deposit last Friday for the woman and child restarting their life! The woman text me this morning! We give GOD All The Glory!

Henry aka Earl, our long time Feed the Need Friend stopped by to visit yesterday!!! A few months ago I found Henry in a terrible state, something that will never leave my memory. I'm so Grateful to GOD for working out everything on his behalf, Henry stays in a motel and receives meals and just about everything else he needs by a funded program that Sara Adams found for him! I thank GOD for Sara also! All he kept saying is, "Praise GOD! Praise GOD!" Thank YOU LORD for taking good care of Henry!!!

Tomorrow (Saturday October 3rd) we will be having a much needed Fundraiser for Brawley Feed the Need!!! A Yard Sale with New Clothing from a retail store that closed. We are selling each piece for $1, and I donated some of my knicknacks that I sell at a local consignment shop I rent so there will be a bit of decorations and such. Please spread the word & share!!! ** We will be implementing saftey protocol ** Must Wear Mask 10 people in building at a time 6ft Distanc...ing Gloves and Hand Sanitizer provided *** If you have any new or like new items you would like to donate to help us raise some funds, you can take them to my house and leave inside my yard (1621 A Street) or drop off early tomorrow morning!

Today was a special day at Brawley Feed the Need!!! A Very Special Lady came to visit!!! Yolanda is one of our Miracle BFTN Friends!!! Almost 3 years ago a few days before Thanksgiving Yoli came to eat lunch at FTN as she would often, we always would give a hug and say Hi to each other when she would walk in the door, she was my friend and my Sister in CHRIST, she had been backslidden for a few years but even through her tired eyes I would see her light, actually it was THE H...OLY SPIRIT'S LIGHT in her! Sometimes we would pray, sometimes she just needed some encouraging words! But on that day she also recieved a nice big frozen Turkey and Thanksgiving Kit with all the sides from a large donation from Vons, I asked her if she had somewhere to cook it and she said "No, but I'll find somewhere to cook it!" And so she left! I didn't see her again for quite some time, months infact! I thought of her, worried a bit about her saftey but I prayed, asking GOD to be with her wherever she was at. Then one day I see her at PMH I was so happy to see her, she was sitting there with another Beautiful Young Lady that was in crisis, Yoli and I hugged tight! I asked her where she'd been and she told me in The Women's Home! My heart was overjoyed! And now here we are almost 3 years later, I'm outside of Feed the Need Center and I see a Beautiful Lady walking my way,,, Yes, it was my Sister Yoli!!! Shining Bright like a Diamond!!! She came to say Hi and tell me that she is about to become the Director of the Women's Home she had Completed some time back!!! I just had to share! We are so proud of Yoli! So grateful to GOD for her life! And so thankful to JESUS for HIS Restoration Power See more

Decided to make a Birthday Fundraiser!!!! I've dedicated 5+ years to making Brawley Feed the Need what it is today. I thank GOD for giving me the strength when I am weak and the encouragement I need when I have felt like giving up. I will be celebrating my 44th Birthday soon and there's no better way to bless me than your prayers and also your support to my Ministry that THE GOOD LORD entrusted me with! Your contribution will help people in my community who are struggling. We help the addict, the homeless, the elderly and families in need.

A Special Thank You to Maria Flores for the large supply of Hygiene Kits she made for our homeless! Every homeless person is able to recieve one fully stocked hygiene kit each month, containing the basic essentials specifically for women and also specifically for men! Thank You again Maria! We appreciate you very much!!!

Hello Everyone! It's Fundraiser Time @ Brawley Feed the Need!!! 2 weeks ago we were given a ton of brand new with tags clothing for women from a retail store that closed. We will be using this clothing to Fundraise!!! If you would like to help, please gather up any (BRAND NEW ONLY) items that you may have and drop off at our center this week or message me for pick up!! Also please spread the word!!! (We have already set aside clothing for our homeless women for our CHRISTmas... Drive) Brawley Feed the Need is very grateful to GOD and also to our supporters who have helped us with monetary donations to be able to stay open throughout the pandemic, Now it's time for BFTN to do our part & FUNDRAISE!!! 10 people limit will be allowed in building at the same time Mask must be worn 6 ft.
